The course is hilly with frequent elevation changes so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots and allow extra yardage on climbs.

Bentgrass greens tend to reward shots that hit the putting surface—aim for the center of the green to avoid tricky chips and reads near the pin.

Being on a highland, many tees and fairways are exposed to wind so check wind direction on each hole and factor it into ball flight and club choice.
