Fairways are generally generous but the course rewards accuracy into the greens, so favor a conservative tee shot to leave a simpler approach.

Greens are bentgrass and tend to be fast and sensitive, so use firm, confident strokes and spend extra time reading subtle breaks.

The Ishikari Plain can generate steady crosswinds that affect trajectory and distance, so check wind direction on every hole and adjust club selection accordingly.

Use the multiple tee positions and the ability to drive on fairways with the cart to manage distance on longer holes and play to your strengths.
