Starts Kasama Golf Club is a beautifully designed 18-hole course located in Kasama, Ibaraki. Set on expansive rolling hills, it features wide fairways, carefully shaped greens, and strategically placed bunkers that offer an engaging challenge for golfers of all levels. The clubhouse, designed by acclaimed architect Togo Murano, complements the course, which was the final work of master course designer Seiichi Inoue. Despite generally wide fairways, place tee shots strategically because bunkers and water hazards are positioned to influence approach angles to many greens.

Subtle elevation changes on rolling terrain make club selection important—take one extra club uphill and be conservative downhill to avoid long recovery shots.

Bentgrass greens are finely shaped and can play brisk; spend extra time reading subtle breaks and favor hitting the correct tier or side of the green.

Because some holes are exposed on the ridges, wind can affect ball flight—check prevailing conditions and aim to leave manageable approaches rather than attacking pins blindly.
