Account for elevation—take one more club for uphill shots and one less for long downhill approaches due to the mountain terrain.

Wind can be gusty on the exposed southern hillside so check the wind direction and strength from the tee and adjust trajectory and aiming points accordingly.

Fairways are not extremely wide (rating indicates accuracy matters) so favor conservative tee shots to the center rather than trying to overpower into tight landing areas.

Greens are bentgrass and moderately tricky, so prioritize speed control on approaches and pay attention to subtle breaks when putting.

Use the cart navigation system to review hole layouts and yardages before each shot so you can avoid forced carry hazards and plan conservative lines around trouble.

Situated at about 950 m on a southern slope, expect cooler temperatures than the Kofu Basin, clear mornings with excellent visibility on high‑pressure days, but afternoon cloud build or gusty winds on exposed ridges are common; the rainy season brings more persistent clouds and moisture.

Spring (April–June) and autumn (September–November) offer the best combination of comfortable temperatures, stable weather and clear views of Mt. Fuji, while rainy season and winter bring clouds, rain and possible cold or snow.
