The Seto Inland Sea area around Sanuki has a relatively mild, sheltered climate with hot, humid summers, a pronounced June rainy season, frequent sea breezes on exposed days and occasional typhoon influence in late summer/early autumn.

Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures, stable weather and clear sea views, while avoiding the June rainy season, peak summer heat and higher typhoon risk in late summer.
