The hilly, forest-lined layout rewards accurate tee shots and course management, so favor placement over sheer distance to set up easier approach shots.

Several holes incorporate ponds and water hazards that force conservative club selection into greens and present risk–reward options, so prioritize hitting safe angles.

Elevation changes can significantly affect yardages so club up or down accordingly and be cautious on downhill approaches where balls can release farther.

The bentgrass greens are generally true with subtle undulations, so focus on speed control and read breaks carefully, and remember the course requires soft spikes only.
