Undulating bentgrass greens are often quick and have pronounced breaks, so focus on controlling approach speed and plotting conservative putts.

Coastal winds from the Seto Inland Sea can be variable and affect ball flight substantially, so check wind direction before every shot and be ready to alter club choice.

Use the GPS cart yardages to pick safe landing areas and take conservative lines on downhill approaches to avoid running past pins.
