Senbadaira's three nine‑hole courses differ: Japan Sea favors long hitters, Tateyama demands accuracy, and Hakusan is flatter and more forgiving, and some holes may be under repair after earthquake damage so check course availability before your round.

Bentgrass greens generally hold approaches well but can display subtle breaks, so take extra time to read putts and focus on distance control around the hole.

Many holes feature ponds, tree‑lined corridors and occasional out‑of‑bounds—prioritize fairway placement off the tee rather than sheer distance to avoid big numbers.

Elevated tees and open stretches mean wind from the Tonami Plain or Sea of Japan can swing quickly, so check wind on each hole and adjust club selection accordingly.

Located on the Sea of Japan side of Toyama, the area has heavy snowfall in winter, a humid rainy season in early summer, and generally mild, clearer conditions in spring and autumn; mornings can produce low clouds or an occasional sea of clouds (unkai), and winds from the plain or sea can change quickly.
