The hilly routing requires careful club selection—always account for elevation changes on both tee shots and approach shots.

Coastal influence can create variable crosswinds, so check wind direction at the tee and aim to play the wind rather than fight it.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can run fast when dry, so focus on distance control and try to leave approach shots below the hole.

At roughly 6,800 yards the course rewards accuracy off the tee more than pure distance, so prioritize position to set up comfortable mid- to short-iron approaches.
