Wide tee grounds reward aggressive but smart driving—take advantage of the roomy fairways to leave comfortable approach shots.

The course is mostly flat with gentle undulations, so favor controlled shots that stop on the greens rather than relying on big runs.

Adjust your putting and approach strategy for two green types: Bentgrass tends to be faster and truer, while Zoysia is often slower and affected by grain.

Watch for changing winds from the Seto Inland Sea on exposed tees and approach shots, and alter club selection accordingly.

Soft spikes are recommended and course management—keeping the ball in play—will generally yield better scores than trying heroic shots.
