Account for elevation changes on many holes by taking one more club for uphill approaches and one less for downhill shots due to the course’s high-ground routing.

Fairway mounds and small hills can redirect runouts and block low shots, so aim for the wider landing areas and favor controlled tee shots over maximum distance.

Creeks, ponds and a waterfall come into play around the greens on several holes, so play conservatively into water-protected approaches and consider laying up where necessary.

Bentgrass greens are receptive but can run quick when firm, so focus on speed control and read subtle breaks carefully on approach putts.

Because the layout is exposed on the ridge overlooking the basin, wind can strengthen in the afternoon—always check wind direction and adjust club selection, especially on exposed par 3s and long par 4s.
