Gentle elevation changes affect club selection—take an extra club for uphill approaches and consider one less for downhill shots.

Bentgrass greens can show subtle breaks and speed, so aim to leave approach shots below the hole for easier putts.

Short intervals between holes create a brisk pace of play, so keep a steady pre-shot routine and be ready on the next tee.

Wind is generally mild inland but can gust on exposed or elevated holes, so check conditions and adjust aim and club selection accordingly.

Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most pleasant temperatures, stable skies, and attractive foliage, while mid-summer brings heat and possible typhoons and winter is cool but playable.
