Oita Takenaka Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course that makes full use of the natural terrain. Known for its rich fairway undulations and well-positioned deep bunkers, the course challenges players by rewarding precise tee shots. Features such as ponds, valleys, and downhill shots add variety, while the greens are consistently well-maintained with bentgrass. Since July 2020, all golf carts are equipped with the latest GPS touch panel navigation, allowing easy distance measurements and score entry for a more enjoyable golfing experience. Located in Oita Prefecture, it offers a rewarding and comfortable round for golfers of varying skill levels.

Prioritize accuracy off the tee because undulating fairways and deep, strategically placed bunkers penalize wayward drives.

On holes with downhill shots and valley carries, club down and focus on distance control to avoid running through greens or leaving long up-and-downs.

Be cautious around ponds and greenside bunkers and play to the safer side when pin positions are well guarded.

Greens are well-maintained bentgrass with consistent surfaces, so pay attention to subtle slopes and try to leave approaches below the hole for easier putts.

All carts have GPS navigation—use the distance readouts to plan layups and avoid hazards on tighter holes.
