Northern Country Club Akagi Golf Course is a scenic 27-hole golf facility located in Shibukawa, Gunma Prefecture. Managed by Accordia Golf, the course is divided into three distinct nine-hole courses: the North course is a flat layout surrounded by woods at an elevation of 700 meters; the Middle course features natural undulations and varied mounds; and the South course offers beautiful scenery with strategic challenges that engage golfers. The course follows a rotation of North, Middle, then South, providing a diverse and enjoyable experience for players of different skill levels in a serene highland setting.

打球建议

The North course is a flat, wooded layout so prioritize accurate tee shots to avoid trouble from trees rather than raw distance.

The Middle course features natural undulations and varied mounds, so plan approach shots carefully and allow for uneven lies around the greens.

The South course is more strategic and scenic—position your drives to create the best angles into the greens rather than always trying to hit it long.

At roughly 700 m elevation and with bentgrass greens, the ball can carry a bit farther and the greens tend to be true and potentially quick, so consider clubbing down and be ready for faster putts.

As a highland course at about 700 m, expect cooler temperatures than the lowlands, frequent morning fog and breezy conditions on exposed holes, milder summers, and cold winters with possible snow.
