Fairways are relatively narrow, so prioritize accuracy and course management over aggressive drives to avoid trouble.

Bentgrass greens are immaculately maintained and play true but can be firm, so use your caddie's read and aim to leave yourself below the hole when possible.

Strategically placed water hazards and tree-lined holes punish wayward approaches, so lay up on tight risk–reward spots instead of forcing carries.

Seasonal winds from the Kanto plain and occasional typhoon-influenced conditions in late summer can change club selection, so check wind and course conditions with your caddie before each hole.
