You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

The course is fairly flat but long (around 7090 yards), so prioritize distance and accuracy off the tee to avoid very long approach shots.

The front nine is tightly forested with red pines, so keep tee shots in play and avoid aggressive shot shapes that bring trees into play.

The back nine features a more open, Western-style layout where wind can affect club selection on longer holes, so always factor wind into your yardages.

The single bentgrass greens tend to be truer and can run faster than local Poa greens, so take time to read subtle breaks and control approach spin and trajectory to hold greens.

Niigata experiences cold, snowy winters and a humid climate with a rainy season in early summer (June); summers are warm and humid while spring and autumn are generally mild, and the back nine’s more open holes can be noticeably wind-exposed.

Late spring through early autumn (roughly May to October) offers the most comfortable playing conditions and course availability; avoid winter because heavy snow can close the course and be aware of the early-summer rainy season in June.
