The wide, forgiving fairways reward conservative tee shots—favor placement over pure distance to set up easier approach shots on the long par‑4s and par‑5s.

Many holes lie along the Yodo River and can be affected by crosswinds and gusts, so check wind direction and adjust club selection accordingly.

Zoysia (Koma) greens tend to be firmer and slightly slower than bentgrass, so aim for the center of the green and prefer lag putting over aggressive long putts.

With a total length around 6,600 yards there are several long holes where big hitters gain an advantage, but average players should emphasize accuracy and course management to save strokes.

A shuttle runs between the clubhouse and the course and soft spikes are recommended, so allow extra time for transfers and wear appropriate footwear.
