Maebashi Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72 course located just 12 minutes by car from central Maebashi in Gunma Prefecture. Conveniently accessible from the Kan-Etsu Expressway’s Komayose Smart IC in only five minutes, it offers a beautiful setting with views of Mount Akagi and the surrounding Jomo Mountains. The course is flat and suitable for players looking to test their skills, featuring multiple holes aiming towards the Gunma Prefectural Office. The entire course is flat so club selection is straightforward and accuracy off the tee is often more important than managing elevation changes.

At 6,333 yards the course is moderate in length with generally forgiving fairways, making it suitable for higher-handicap players and beginners focusing on course management.

Holes along the Tone River can pick up localized breezes, so check wind direction on tee and approach shots and adjust your club choice accordingly.

Greens are Zoysia (Koma) and tend to play firmer and slower than finer grasses, so strike putts and chips with a bit more pace than on soft bentgrass greens.

Use the on-site putting practice area to gauge green speed before your round, as readings on the first few holes can differ from the practice surface.
