Plan club selection carefully on the longer holes because the course plays around 6313 yards and gentle elevation changes affect carry and roll.

Accuracy is especially important on the short holes where natural rock formations, trees and springs are used as strategic hazards.

Take advantage of the generally spacious, flat fairways to be more aggressive off the tee, but avoid the rocky and tree-lined rough that can penalize errant drives.

Bentgrass greens are receptive and reward precise putting and careful read of subtle breaks, so check putt speed before committing to a line.

Wind in the Hita valley can be changeable, so watch for shifting breezes on elevated tees and adjust club selection accordingly.
