Favor conservative tee shots and aim for the middle of the spacious fairways to avoid being forced into risky recovery shots near water and trees.

Several holes feature water hazards and carries—club up when in doubt and choose safer angles rather than chasing a heroic line.

Pay close attention to elevation changes; uphill approaches require extra club while downhill shots will play noticeably shorter.

The bentgrass greens are well maintained but have subtle undulations and moderate-to-fast speeds, so focus on distance control and read putts carefully.

Wind can shift with mountain and valley breezes, so check wind direction from the elevated tees and adjust club selection accordingly.
