Tight fairways and strategically placed bunkers reward accurate tee shots, so prioritize placement over pure distance off the tee.

The hilly terrain produces frequent elevation changes, so adjust club selection carefully for uphill and downhill approach shots.

Two green surfaces (Bentgrass and Zoysia) play differently—Bentgrass greens generally run faster while Zoysia holds approaches more, so factor surface type into spin and putting speed.

Well-maintained greens can have subtle breaks despite a moderate green difficulty rating, so take time to read putts and trust the contours.

In summer months take advantage of the early 7 AM tee times (July–September) to avoid heat and enjoy firmer playing conditions.
