Kobuchisawa Country Club is an 18-hole forest course located at 1,150 meters above sea level near the southern foothills of the Yatsugatake Mountains in Yamanashi. The course features wide fairways separated by natural white birch and larch trees, offering scenic views of Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mount Fuji. Designed by renowned architects Kokichi Yasuda and Shiro Kawamura, it provides a strategic yet straightforward layout suitable for golfers of all levels. Due to the 1,150 m elevation the ball carries farther than at sea level, so consider using one club less on longer shots.

Mountain and valley breezes can change during the day, so check wind direction at each tee and account for crosswinds on exposed holes.

Bentgrass greens are generally true but can be firm with subtle breaks, so focus on approach control and read putts carefully.
