Prioritize accuracy off the tee over pure distance because pine-lined fairways can penalize offline drives, so consider a 3‑wood or long iron when accuracy is required.

The course features distinct differences in hole lengths so bring a full range of clubs and plan each hole to use the correct loft rather than forcing long clubs.

Bentgrass greens tend to hold approaches well but can play firmer and faster in cooler, drier conditions so be conservative with putt speed on downhills.

As a forested course wind is often light and sheltered, but exposed holes can produce gusts so check wind direction before committing to aggressive club choices.
