Kinzan Country Club is a hilly 18-hole course located in Kochi Prefecture. While the overall elevation changes by about 40 meters, each hole is relatively flat, making for smooth play. The large Zoysia greens add a welcoming challenge. The front nine is longer and more demanding, while the back nine features two water hazards with narrow ponds. Notable holes include the 12th, which requires a tee shot of around 220 yards to avoid a blind second shot, and the 16th, where recent renovations lowered the green to increase its appeal. Play the front nine with measured aggression because it is longer and more demanding, preserving par opportunities for the back nine.

The 12th hole typically requires about a 220‑yard tee shot to avoid a blind second shot, so use a driver or long wood if you can hit it safely, otherwise lay up to a comfortable distance.

Two narrow pond carries on the back nine reward accuracy over distance—aim for the center of the landing areas and favor the safer side of the fairway.

Large Zoysia (Koma) greens are firm with noticeable grain and medium speed, so leave your approach shots below the hole and pay close attention to grain direction when putting.

Although the site rises about 40 meters overall, individual holes play relatively flat, so only make modest club adjustments for elevation changes.
