The hilly layout requires careful club selection because uphill shots play longer and downhill shots play shorter than normal.

Fairways are relatively tight so prioritize accuracy off the tee and consider laying up or using a long iron on narrow landing areas.

Bentgrass greens are fastest in spring and autumn so leave approach shots below the hole and allow extra speed for putts on downhills.

The course’s quiet, separated holes let you focus on shotmaking—avoid over‑aggressive swings that can lead to trouble in the rough or on slopes.

Soft spikes are required and the course is well maintained, so take time to read subtle breaks on the greens and wear appropriate footwear for traction on slopes.
