Kase River Side Golf Course is a unique 9-hole layout situated along both banks of the Kase River in Saga. Players enjoy two rounds with different tee markers, taking advantage of the rare riverside setting that allows play without worrying about balls from neighboring holes. Most holes, except the short ones, are suitable for driver shots, adding to the course’s appeal. The course features Zoysia greens and a par 36 layout over just under 3,000 yards. Play the course twice from different tee markers and vary club selection on the repeat round to take advantage of changed angles and yardages.

The riverside, mostly flat layout makes wind a primary factor so always check wind direction and adjust your tee shots and approach clubs accordingly.

Most holes permit driver off the tee, but on the short par(s) prioritize accuracy over distance to avoid trouble around the greens.

Greens are Zoysia (高麗), which can have different roll and grain effects than bentgrass, so aim to leave approach shots below the hole for easier uphill putts.

The layout’s separated holes let you hit more aggressive drives without cross-hole interference, and soft spikes are recommended for good traction.
