The front nine opens with long, wide fairways so be aggressive off the tee to set up shorter approach shots and build momentum early.

The back nine features noticeable elevation changes—take an extra club on uphill approaches and deduct a club on the downhill holes to avoid leaving the ball short or overshooting the green.

The closing hole is an island green surrounded by water, so aim for the center of the putting surface and favor conservative club selection to minimize risk.

One bentgrass, one‑green setup tends to be receptive but can hide subtle breaks, so prioritize distance control into the green rather than attacking pin positions from long range.

Highland breezes can pick up mid‑round, especially on exposed back‑nine holes, so monitor wind direction and adjust aim and club choice accordingly.
