At 7,204 yards with hilly terrain, the course rewards length—choose tee clubs that set up comfortable approach shots rather than always trying to hit driver.

The UMIKAJI nine faces the East China Sea and can be exposed to strong coastal winds, so always account for wind direction and play conservatively on exposed holes.

The YAMBARU nine plays through more natural, wooded terrain with elevation changes, so factor in uphill/downhill yardage adjustments and favor accuracy into tighter landing areas.

Greens are bentgrass and typically receptive, so take time to read subtle breaks and be precise with speed control on sloping putts.

Use the 250‑yard driving range and short‑game/bunker practice areas pre‑round to dial in long shots and sand play for the course’s varied approaches.
