Expect strong and shifting coastal winds from the Sea of Japan that can significantly alter ball flight, so choose clubs carefully and allow for wind when aiming.

Approach shots should target the center of the green because the bentgrass greens are moderately paced with subtle breaks that can punish aggressive lines.

Use the on-board navigation in the two-seater carts to plan club selection and layup spots, especially on breezy holes.

On exposed seaside holes consider laying up rather than attacking pins in crosswinds, since wind can create large carry differences.
