You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

On the East Course take advantage of the wide, flat fairways and be aggressive off the tee to set up shorter approach shots.

Be cautious on the American-style back nine of the East Course where water and bunkers come into play around approaches and par-4 finishes.

The West Course rewards precision as its shorter holes incorporate ponds and valleys that severely penalize errant drives and approaches.

The short 8th on the West is a signature precision hole that requires a well-judged wedge or short iron to hold the green.

Greens are bentgrass and generally smooth and true, so focus on speed control, factor in light-to-moderate afternoon winds on elevated holes, and wear soft spikes for traction.

The Kansai area has a humid climate with a rainy season (tsuyu) in June–July and hot, humid summers with occasional thunderstorms and typhoons in late summer; springs and autumns are generally mild and stable while winters are cool with occasional frost and rare snow, and light to moderate afternoon breezes can pick up on exposed or elevated holes.
