Ito Golf Club is a scenic 18-hole course located on gentle hills at the southern tip of the Itoshima Peninsula in Fukuoka Prefecture. Surrounded by lush greenery, with views of both the sea and nearby mountains, the course was opened in 1976. It was co-designed by professional golfer Yoshimasa Fujii and then Kyushu Electric Power president Kiyoshi Kawabayashi. Known for its strategic layout, the club hosted the Japan Senior Pro Championship in 2009. With a par of 72 and Bentgrass greens, Ito Golf Club offers a rewarding challenge in a peaceful, natural setting.

With a total length of about 6,830 yards and several long par-4s and par-5s, long hitters can gain advantage but conservative club choice on tight fairways is wise.

Bentgrass greens are generally medium-speed with subtle undulations, so focus on precise approach shots and read breaks carefully.

Being on the Itoshima Peninsula, seaside winds can be variable—check wind direction on elevated tees and adjust club selection accordingly.

Fairways tend to be on the narrower side, making recovery from off-line shots more difficult, so favor accuracy over risk on doglegs and tighter landing areas.
