The course is mostly flat with gentle undulations, so prioritize accurate iron play and distance control into the bentgrass greens rather than relying on elevation changes.

Although described as a spacious forest course, trees line many holes so favor accuracy from the tee and avoid gambling for tight fairway angles.

Wind can be a factor—especially on open stretches—so check the wind direction on each hole and choose clubs that give you low, controlled ball flight when breezy.

Use the on-site 300-yard range and short-game practice green to dial in approach distances and get a feel for the greens’ speed, which are bentgrass and reward precise distance control.
