Hitachi Omiya Golf Club is a beautiful 27-hole course located at the foot of Mount Omae in Ibaraki Prefecture. Spread over 1.55 million square meters, the course features gently rolling terrain with minimal elevation changes, making it enjoyable for players of all levels. Each cart is equipped with GPS navigation to enhance the playing experience, and fairway riding is available for a small fee. Practice facilities include a driving range and areas for approach and bunker shots. The club also offers a spacious restaurant, a large bathhouse, a competition room for up to 40 people, and an on-site lodge with 13 rooms for overnight stays and gatherings.

The course’s gently rolling, low-elevation terrain rewards accurate tee shots—prioritize fairway position over distance to leave easier approach shots.

Bentgrass greens tend to be relatively true and can run a bit quick, so take time to read subtle breaks and control your putting speed.

Use the on-cart GPS to check distances and pin positions before each shot, which helps on the 27-hole layout where hole routing can vary.

Watch for well-placed bunkers and approach hazards around greens and choose conservative lines when in doubt to avoid big numbers.

Spring (April–June) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and the best course conditions.

Wearing sandals is against the etiquette and will not be allowed. Examples: Crocs sandals not allowed, beach sandals not allowed. Inside the facility, wearing T-shirts and jeans is also prohibited.
