The North and Central nines are championship-level and demand accurate tee shots and tight approach shots, so prioritize position over pure distance.

Hilly routing and frequent elevation changes mean club selection can vary dramatically, so take one club extra for uphill shots and consider less club for downhill shots.

Several holes sit on higher ground and can be affected by wind, so check flags on the tee and adjust club choice and trajectory when breezy.

Bentgrass greens are maintained to tournament standards and can be relatively fast with subtle breaks, so aim to leave approach shots below the hole and be precise with lag putts.
