Approach shots demand club selection care because greens combine bentgrass and zoysia, producing varied speeds and subtle breaks that reward conservative yardage choices.

Avoid the trees by keeping tee shots to the center of the fairway since recovery from the rough or among mature trees can be difficult and costly.
