The course is hilly and strategically designed, so prioritize accurate tee placement over raw distance to leave the best approach angles.

Many fairways and second-shot areas feature slopes and uneven lies, so play conservative layups when a risky line would leave a difficult downhill or blind approach.

Expect variable breezes from the direction of Suruga Bay and down-valley winds in the afternoon, so adjust club selection and trajectory accordingly.

Greens are bentgrass and tend to be true but can exhibit subtle slopes and faster roll in summer, so take extra time to read breaks and control pace on downhill putts.

(Upon entry and exit) Jackets are not required; golf style attire is allowed when entering and exiting.
