Gold Sapporo Country Club is a scenic 18-hole course located between New Chitose Airport and central Sapporo. Part of the Gold Golf Club group, it features a spacious and challenging layout with a broad, open front nine overlooking the cities of Kitahiroshima and Eniwa, and a more forested, technical back nine. The bentgrass greens offer subtle undulations that test your putting skills. Players can choose between self-play or caddie service, with reservations recommended for caddies. Since 2022, all carts are equipped with the latest navigation systems, enhancing convenience and competition for groups. The course is easily accessible by car and public transport.

The front nine is more open and allows longer tee shots, but be mindful of prevailing wind which can significantly change club selection.

The back nine is tree-lined and more technical, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and avoid drifting into the rough or tree trunks.

Bentgrass greens have subtle undulations so focus on distance control and lag putts to avoid three-putts.

The course is hilly with noticeable elevation changes, so use the cart navigation to confirm yardages and adjust your club choice for uphill or downhill shots.

Consider booking a caddie for local course knowledge, pin positions, and strategic advice, especially on the more confined back nine.
