Accuracy off the tee is more important than pure distance because the fairways are relatively narrow and tree-lined.

Account for elevation changes—many holes play uphill or downhill so adjust club selection accordingly.

Approaches are protected by well-placed bunkers and creeks, so favor conservative lines and lay up when the carry is risky.

Bentgrass greens generally read true but can be firmer and faster in dry periods, so prioritize distance control and aim toward the center of the green.

Wind near Mount Fuji can be gusty and changeable, especially on exposed holes, so check conditions on the tee and plan shots with wind shifts in mind.
