The course is long and hilly so prioritize both distance and accuracy off the tee to leave manageable approach shots.

Expect frequent elevation changes so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots and consider taking an extra club for long uphill approaches.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can run true and moderately quick, so leave your approach shots below the hole and pay close attention to subtle breaks.

Tree-lined fairways and heavy rough penalize wayward tee shots so favor position over heroic carries to avoid difficult recovery lies.

Wind can be variable on exposed ridges and elevated tees so check wind direction carefully before committing to club selection.
