Most fairways are relatively flat and forgiving, so prioritize accuracy and tee positioning over pure distance to set up easier approach shots.

Several long holes are protected by deep bunker complexes, so consider laying up short of bunkers rather than forcing aggressive lines.

The famous left dogleg plays safer from the right side off the tee to open up a clearer angle into the green.

The pond-crossing short hole is a great scoring chance but requires a precise carry and conservative club selection when wind is present.

Bentgrass greens are typically smooth and receptive, so trust your lines but be cautious of firm, faster-than-expected speeds near undulations.
