The hilly layout makes club selection for uphill and downhill approach shots critical—take one more club for uphill and one less for downhill changes in elevation.

Bentgrass greens are maintained to tournament standards so expect firm, fast putting surfaces and aim to leave approach shots below the hole for uphill putts.

Fairways are not overly wide so prioritize accuracy off the tee over pure distance to avoid recovery shots from the rough.

Check wind direction before each tee shot as coastal breezes can influence play, particularly on exposed holes.
