The three 9-hole courses (East, West, South) present a mix of wide fairways and technical holes, so plan hole-by-hole strategy rather than relying on a single template for every hole.

Elevation changes are common—club up on uphill approaches and trust the roll on downhill shots because yardages can play shorter or longer than the card shows.

Bentgrass greens are well-maintained and can be true and moderately fast, so prioritize speed control and precise approach shots to avoid costly three-putts.

Fairway cart access helps you reach your ball and keep a steady pace, but championship-length tees and tighter landing areas on some holes still reward accuracy off the tee.

Wind from the Tanzawa foothills can vary through the day, so check wind direction and strength on exposed holes and adjust club selection accordingly.

Atsugi has hot, humid summers with occasional typhoons in late summer, mild springs, pleasant and dry autumns with cooling mountain breezes, and cool but generally dry winters with colder nights near the hills.

Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and clear skies, with autumn also providing pleasant foliage views, while summer can be hot and humid and late summer brings typhoon risk.
