Coco Paris Resort Club Mie Hakusan Golf Course, located in Hakusan-cho, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, is an 18-hole course designed by renowned architect Shoichi Suzuki. Opened in 1986, the course features a flat hilly terrain with spacious fairways and fast, undulating bentgrass greens that offer a unique putting experience. Overlooking the scenic Aoyama Highlands, the course challenges players’ skill and strategy without issues of sun glare. Equipped with new touchscreen cart navigation systems and allowing limited fairway cart access from June, it provides a comfortable and enjoyable golfing environment for all levels.

Fairways are generally wide but the course length (≈6975 yd) makes accuracy and course management more important than always bombing driver off the tee.

Bentgrass greens are fast and undulating, so focus on speed control and read subtle breaks to avoid three-putts.

Because the course sits near the Aoyama Highlands, wind can influence club choice on exposed tees and approaches, so check conditions before each hole.

Limited fairway cart access (from June) can save energy—use it when allowed but be cautious on slopes and uneven ground.

On longer holes consider laying up to the safe part of the fairway rather than risking trouble; aim for the center of the fairway on approach to the well-guarded greens.
