At 6,740 yards the layout can play long for higher-handicap players, so prioritize fairway accuracy off the tee over distance to avoid hazards and tricky second shots.

Greens are a mix of bentgrass and zoysia, with bentgrass tending to be faster and zoysia firmer and grainy—test speeds on the practice green and be conservative with break on first putts.

Flat terrain means elevation rarely helps; focus on course management and positioning to leave comfortable approach angles rather than trying heroic recovery shots.

Water and riverside areas can come into play on some holes, so favor the center of the fairway on tee shots and lay up when the angle to the green is tight.
