Chubu International Golf Club is an 18-hole hilly course located in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, about a 10-minute drive from both Tajimi IC and Kani-Mitake IC. Designed by Takeo Ishikado, the course features a wide and mostly flat OUT course ideal for long hitters, while the IN course offers varied terrain with gentle elevation changes. Notable holes include challenging short holes with valley and water hazards, and a signature 12th hole with a dramatic downhill shot, offering panoramic views of Mount Ontake on clear days. The club also offers convenient access by taxi from Tajimi Station and supports easy check-in with Rakuten.

The wide, mostly flat OUT holes reward distance—be aggressive off the tee but aim for fairway-centred targets to avoid trouble.

The IN holes feature gentle elevation changes and several short holes with valley and water hazards, so choose clubs conservatively and prioritise position over pure distance.

The signature 12th is a dramatic downhill hole with views of Mount Ontake on clear days, so club down for the drop and be mindful of gusty wind on the tee.

Greens alternate between faster bentgrass and firmer zoysia, so test first putts to gauge speed and adjust approach shots to hold the correct side of the pin.

Central Gifu has a humid climate with a rainy season in June–July, hot humid summers that can be affected by typhoons in late summer, generally clear and stable autumns, and cool winters with occasional mountain snow, while winds are usually light to moderate but can be gusty on exposed elevated holes.

Autumn (September–November) is best for stable weather, cooler temperatures and clear views of Mount Ontake, with spring (April–May) a close second for mild, pleasant conditions.
