Wide, mostly flat fairways reward aggressive tee shots but stay mindful of placement because several holes are guarded by ponds and water hazards.

Many greens are protected by water—prioritize accuracy on approach shots and target safe sections of the putting surface when the pin is tucked.

The course has a mix of grass types: the B greens were converted to heat‑resistant Bermuda in 2019 and can show grain and quicker speeds in summer, while bentgrass surfaces play smoother and truer in cooler months.

Afternoon breezes can pick up on the more open holes, so check wind direction at every tee and adjust club choice accordingly.

Subtle undulations and firm fairways can add roll on drives and approaches, so consider lower-lofted clubs or shorter targets when you need the ball to hold the green.
