Play the hilly routing conservatively and use the cart navigation to spot approaches and blind lies on uphill and downhill holes.

Treat the 13th as a demanding long hole — its 630-yard downhill profile toward the bay requires careful club selection and course management rather than just trying to overpower it.

Account for coastal wind from Ishikari Bay on exposed holes; wind direction and strength can change between tees and greens and will alter club choice significantly.

Aim for well-positioned approaches because the single bentgrass greens reward accurate iron play and can be tricky to read when firm or breezy.
