Play conservatively off the tee because tree-lined fairways and narrower landing areas punish wayward shots.

Many holes feature ponds and strategic water hazards—especially the dramatic par‑3 17th—so favor accuracy over pure distance on approaches.

Expect noticeable elevation changes across the hilly layout and club up or down accordingly for uphill and downhill shots.

Greens are Korai/Zoysia and often play a bit firmer and slower than bentgrass, so focus on precise distance control and reading subtle breaks.

Wind can be shifty in the river valley with occasional gusts and swirling crosswinds on exposed holes, so check conditions and play controlled shots when breezy.
