Fairways are generally wide and forgiving, so prioritize tee shot position over distance to leave easier approach shots.

Because the course sits near the coast, factor in sea breezes and changing wind directions when choosing clubs, especially on exposed holes in the afternoon.

Greens are bentgrass and typically play medium to fast with subtle breaks, so aim to leave approach shots below the hole for uphill putts.

The three distinct nines (West, South, East) have different characters, so check the layout beforehand and adjust strategy for each routing.
