On the Seaside Course plan for coastal winds and often play a lower, controlled ball flight or adjust club selection to compensate for gusts.

Favor accuracy off the tee—the pine-lined fairways and numerous bunkers reward placement more than raw distance.

On the Lake Course, account for rolling terrain and elevation changes by clubbing up or down and aiming for larger target areas rather than attacking tucked pins.

Greens are bentgrass with moderate speed, so take care reading subtle breaks and leave approach shots below the hole when possible to avoid difficult uphill putts.

Late spring (April–June) and autumn (September–November) offer the most pleasant conditions and most reliable course access, while summer can be hot and typhoon-prone and winter brings heavy snow and possible closures.
